brentwood academy

It was a full day of volunteering for these sophomores who attend Brentwood Academy! First they prepared grant packets, then they cooked a big sloppy joe lunch with bakes beans, fritos and cookies, and then they made colorful cards for our guests! Thank you for your servant hearts!

Families take a break in the kitchen

We love to see our families take a break from the stress of a sick loved one and find community and even cook dinners in the kitchen together and sharing meals! Last night was fried pork chops, turnip greens, homemade mac ‘n cheese, green beans and corn muffins…and it was a southern feast!!!

Beautiful greenery

Thank you to our long-time and beloved volunteers Terry Kureshi and SuzAnne Saavedra for planting the beautiful greenery in our courtyard beds today!! They also create the gorgeous flower pots outside of our front door all year and create all of our seasonal decorations at our entrance throughout the year!!!

Chef Ryan Kromm prepared one of the most delicious meals our families have ever been served! His catering business is called FRANKLIN FLAVOR (615) 887-9181. Ryan served an amazing beef brisket, asparagus, creamy macaroni, mashed potatoes, and a Caesar salad! Everyone enjoyed this delicious feast! Thank you, Ryan!
