It was a full day of volunteering for these sophomores who attend Brentwood Academy! First they prepared grant packets, then they cooked a big sloppy joe lunch with baked beans, fritos and cookies, and then they made colorful cards for our guests!
Cooking in the kitchen
We love to see our families take a break from the stress of a sick loved one and find community and even cook dinners in the kitchen together! Last night was fried pork chops, turnip greens, homemade mac ‘n cheese, green beans and corn muffins…and it was a southern feast!!!
May Stock the House
The May Stock the House event was a HUGE success! Our prayers for toilet paper were answered!!! Friends and volunteers came daily with trunk loads of TP and our stock room is now full!
